Chemicals United supports manufacturers, distributors, and end users with practical chemical supply services that go beyond sourcing. Our role is to make chemical supply easier to manage: clearer communication, faster coordination, and solutions that fit how your plant actually operates.

Whether you need the right packaging format, a tailored blend, or an equivalent alternative when markets change, we help you move from “problem” to “shipment-ready” with straightforward answers and reliable execution.

Packaging + repackaging

  • switching from bulk to IBC/drums for easier receiving
  • supplying multiple sites with consistent pack formats
  • customer-specific packaging and labeling requirements

Blending / formulation support

  • custom thinner and solvent blend requirements
  • adjusting evaporation behavior, solvency balance, or application performance
  • simplifying your supply chain by consolidating multiple inputs into 1 blend

Alternative substitution help

  • supplier delays, allocations, or discontinued products
  • switching origin for stability, lead time, or tariff considerations
  • replacing a chemical due to regulatory, safety, or process constraints

Packaging + repackaging

We support packaging solutions that match your operation, including:

  • coordination of packaging formats based on product and route (e.g., bulk, IBC, drums, and other formats)
  • repackaging support through qualified partners when a different pack size is needed
  • labeling and shipment-ready identification aligned with applicable transport and customer requirements
  • end-to-end coordination between manufacturer, packaging point, carrier, and your receiving location

Not every site can receive the same format—and the right packaging can reduce handling time, risk, and cost.

Blending / formulation support

We support blend and formulation coordination, including:

  • solvent blend development through qualified partners based on your application targets
  • aligning on a clear blend specification for repeatability
  • documentation and packaging coordination so the product arrives ready to use
  • support for both one-off requirements and repeat supply programs

When off-the-shelf material isn’t the best fit, blending can achieve the performance and handling characteristics your process needs.

Alternative substitution help

We help you evaluate and secure alternatives, including:

  • identifying equivalent options based on spec and application role
  • presenting 1–3 choices with clear trade-offs (availability, cost, compliance, and performance)
  • aligning documentation (COA/SDS/TDS and other requirements where applicable)
  • supporting trials where feasible and scaling supply once approved

Supply conditions change fast. When availability tightens or pricing shifts, you need a plan that keeps production moving.

FAQ

Can you repackage from bulk to IBC/drums (or the other way around)?

Yes, where feasible. We coordinate the steps between manufacturer, packaging point, carrier, and your site so the product arrives in the format you can actually receive.

What turnaround time should customers expect for repackaging?

It’s usually fast once product/spec, destination, and packaging format are confirmed — timing depends on partner capacity and route specifics.

Do you offer custom blending, or do you only supply finished products?

We support blending/formulation through qualified partners, especially for solvent blends and application-driven needs.

Do you support trial quantities before scale-up?

When feasible, yes. If trials aren’t feasible for a specific product or route, we’ll explain why and propose the best alternative path.

Can you help when a product is discontinued, allocated, or suddenly delayed?

Yes — this is one of the main reasons customers ask for substitution support.

What do you need from a customer to propose a substitute quickly?

Current product name + spec (COA/TDS if available), what it does in the process, any red lines, destination, packaging, and timeline.
